An interesting blend of African-American history and contemporary black culture brought to life through interviews with the artists, readings from poetry and novels, traditional African artifacts and authentic sounds of African rhythms and music. Two major themes are explored: the traditional African-American KWANZAA holiday, and the "Middle Passage".
